1. Non-stick and easy cleaning
Non-stick casserole achieves non-stick effect through special surface coating, which reduces the adhesion of ingredients during cooking, especially in scenes where the bottom is easy to stick, such as clay pot rice and porridge. The residue can be easily removed without soaking when cleaning. Traditional casseroles are easy to absorb grease due to their porous characteristics, and stubborn charred dirt is easy to form after long-term use, which requires multiple soaking and scrubbing. If the inner wall of a traditional casserole contains glaze, it may release heavy metals such as lead and cadmium, especially when acidic ingredients are stewed for a long time. The coating of non-stick casseroles is mostly processed by high-temperature sintering process or made of natural mineral materials to reduce the risk of harmful substances precipitation.
2. Temperature difference resistance and crack resistance
Traditional casseroles are prone to cracking due to the characteristics of clay materials, which are easy to be cooled or heated suddenly. Non-stick casseroles are enhanced with heat-resistant materials such as spodumene to enhance their thermal shock resistance. Some products can withstand a temperature difference of -20°C to 400°C, and support direct use from the refrigerator to an open flame. Some non-stick casseroles adopt a double-layer lid design, which improves the water circulation efficiency through the micro-pressure of the inner lid, reduces the cooking time, and has a better freshness-locking effect than ordinary casseroles. Traditional casseroles have poor sealing, steam easily escapes from the lid seam, and the soup concentration efficiency is low.
3. Enhanced durability
The wear resistance of the non-stick casserole coating is better than that of the traditional casserole glaze, and the scratch resistance is improved. The lifespan of a high-quality non-stick casserole can reach 3-5 years, while ordinary casseroles are prone to cracking due to improper use or hot and cold shocks, with an average lifespan of 1-2 years. Traditional casseroles need to be regularly maintained with rice water to prevent water seepage or mildew; non-stick casseroles do not require special maintenance due to the closed coating, and can be stored after cleaning and drying.
